Silent Spring Institute will collect anonymous data from users' profiles, their preferences, the products they scan, and how they use the app. These data are de-identified—no personal information is stored with these data. In other words, these data will not be linked you. The information will never be used for ads or sold for marketing purposes. It will be used solely for the purposes of improving the app and directing Silent Spring's research on environmental chemicals and health.
